Why Italy?
In Italy, lemons can reach the size of softballs and thrive in the warm climate and fertile soil. Most of the lemon oil we use comes from the island of Sicily.
Why Brazil?
A small portion of our lemons comes from southern Brazil. The climate there is similar to southern Italy, and citrus fruits, including lemons, thrive there as well.
How does it work?
The essential oil is found in the peel of the fruit. The production of lemon oil, like that of many other citrus oils, is a byproduct of the fresh fruit industry. Fresh lemons that are unsuitable for the fresh market due to bruises or other aesthetic defects are pressed for juice and essential oil, which are later separated. In this way, the leftover fruit is used twice.
The oil is extracted by "grating" the peel (similar to using a cheese grater). Special equipment is used, which is submerged in water just enough to cover the blades. As the peel is grated, the oil is released into the water. The fruit emerges as a small, fuzzy ball, completely free of its peel. The oil is then separated from the water in a centrifuge and processed at least twice. After the oil and peel have been removed, the juice is extracted from the fruit.
The farmers are usually members of a cooperative. The farmer sells the fruit to the cooperative (or a private company), which sorts the fruit according to quality (size, color, shape) for the fresh fruit market or the juice market. Our partners buy the fruit from the cooperative or private company to process the oil or juice.

Lemon oil has a fresh, zesty, and vibrant scent that is intensely citrusy. The aroma is clear, refreshing, and pure, with a slightly sweet note reminiscent of fresh lemon peel. It exudes an energizing and invigorating atmosphere that is often perceived as uplifting and refreshing.

Weight management
1-2 drops of grapefruit oil and/or lemon oil
1 glass (250 ml) of water
Directions:
Fill a glass with fresh water.
Add 1-2 drops of oil to the water.
Ideally, drink the water in the morning to boost your metabolism and support detoxification.

3-4 drops of lemon oil
1 cup of warm water
1 tsp baking soda
A soft cloth or microfiber cloth
Directions:
Add 3-4 drops of lemon oil to a cup of warm water.
Add 1 teaspoon of baking powder and stir well until completely dissolved.
Dip the soft cloth or microfiber cloth into the solution and wring it out so that it is damp but not dripping wet.
Gently wipe the silver or metal with the cloth to remove dirt and tarnish.
Polish the metal with a dry, clean cloth after cleaning.
Furniture polish
1/4 cup olive oil
5 drops of lemon oil
5 drops of Arborvitae
Directions:
Mix the olive oil and the lemon oil in a small bowl or glass container.
Dip a soft cloth into the mixture and wring it out so that the cloth is damp but not dripping wet.
Gently wipe the wooden surfaces with it to remove dust, dirt and deposits.
Polish the surfaces with a dry, clean cloth to create shine and protect the wood surfaces.
